This site is meant to work like a serious Xi'an planning product, not a pile of generic travel posts. It exists to help foreign visitors make better decisions faster.
What This Site Is For
Hi, I'm Shane Yang. I've lived in Xi'an for over a decade, and I built this site because too much Xi'an travel content is either generic, outdated, or written by people who barely spent enough time here to understand how the city actually works.
Xi'an Insider is designed to solve real trip-planning decisions: where to stay, how many days to give the city, which tickets need planning, which attractions are worth the effort, and what kind of route actually makes sense for a foreign visitor.
How to Use This Site
1. Start With the Planning Hub
Use the site in the right order instead of opening random pages.

Xi'an works best when the pace matches the city instead of fighting it.

I am not a travel agency, and I am not trying to sell you a fake perfect trip. I am most useful when you want an honest second opinion from someone who knows how Xi'an actually behaves on the ground.
